‘It was pretty wicked.’ U of T goalie Alex Bishop has a night to remember as a Leaf

The occasional practice goalie considered himself lucky to get the chance to suit up as the Leafs’ backup for Saturday night’s game. Maybe not as lucky as David Ayres, the Zamboni driver who got the call and ended up beating the Leafs. Bishop was on call that season, too.
