It's already been a wild ride for Maple Leafs

Three hours before the 0-2 Leafs were set to face off against the host New York Rangers on Sunday night, a well-respected U.S. hockey scribe walked into the Madison Square Garden press room and wondered if Randy Carlyle might get the axe this week if the visitors were to drop their third consecutive decision to start the season.
